- Matter documents are separate; each attorney saves his or her own copy of every document, without any shared notes or access
- Shared file storage: we store documents on a server or in a file cabinet where all can access them, but notes are not saved with the documents
- Research collaboration: we use shared folders, but we don’t typically share electronic notes on other types of case documents
- Full collaboration: we collaborate and stay up to date by make notes on important case documents
How do your legal technologies integrate with each other, if at all?
- They are in separate standalone programs. I have multiple programs open at once, and they do not send data directly back and forth
- They share data, but I have separate windows open for each program
- They are all integrated in one dashboard so I can see them simultaneously
Does your firm have technical support staff?
- No tech support; we call individual vendors on their products as needed
- Occasionally we hire an outside tech support pro when needed
